Wulanhot Steel Co Ltd (乌兰浩特钢铁有限责任公司) is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Xing'an, Inner Mongolia, China.

Background
The steelmaking equipment replacement and environmental protection renovation project in 2020 is to build a 120-ton basic oxygen furnace with a capacity of 1.35 million tons and remove the 70-ton basic oxygen furnace.[1] In 2022, the 120-ton basic oxygen furnace has put into operation.[2]
The company also planned to reduce and replace the existing 503m3 blast furnace, one 616m3 blast furnace, and part of the purchased iron-making capacity to build a 1200m3 blast furnace. The annual output of iron is 1.13 million tons.[3] The 1200m3 blast furnace started to operate in September 2023.[4]
