Background

The pipeline source is the West Yantai LNG Terminal. The pipeline was proposed in Shandong Oil&Gas Transport Facility Development Plan (2016-2020). [5] As of March March 2020 the pipeline was being permitted for construction,[1] which was scheduled to begin in June 2020.[6]

On the morning of June 18, 2023, the pipeline officially started.[4]
