Background
Yazdani Steel & Power Limited is a Public incorporated on 29 October 2003 as Dinabandhu Steel & Power Ltd.[1] The company was taken over by Yazdani International Pvt ltd in May 2011, subsequent to which it was renamed Yazdani Steel & Power Limited.[2] The plant plans to expand its capacity from 70 ttpa to 1190 ttpa with an investment of INR 2,415 crores.[3] The expansion plan was approved by Odisha Government in 2021.[4] As of 2024 December, there hasn't any updates.
As of October 2025, there hasn't been any updates in the project expansion.
