Zonouz Steel Complex (مجتمع زنوز فولاد) is a steel plant in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan, Iran that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) and direct reduced iron (DRI) technology.

Background

The Zonouz Steel Complex was originally announced by the Daric Group in 2016, to include a Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) unit and an Electric Arc Furnace. As of November 2025, there have been no updates to the project, nor any media or company reports about the beginning of construction, and the project is assumed to have been cancelled.
