Brent Denis Mealings is a director of Glencoal, a subsidiary of Fonterra. Glencoal is the owner and operator of the Kopako mine, an opencut coal mine located near Kopuku, approximately 70 kilometres south of Auckland. The mine produces sub-bituminous coal.

The other director of Glencoal is Christopher Paul Caldwell.
