Part of the Global Gas Infrastructure Tracker, a Global Energy Monitor project. |
The CT Sergipe Gas Pipeline, also known as the Porto Sergipe-Catu Pilar Gas Pipeline, or by its Portuguese names Gasoduto CT Sergipe, Gasoduto Conexão do Terminal Sergipe or Gasoduto Porto Sergipe-Catu Pilar, is an operating gas pipeline in Brazil.
Location
The pipeline runs from Eneva's LNG terminal in Barra dos Coqueiros (Sergipe state) to a junction with the Catu-Pilar pipeline system (part of Brazil's TAG pipeline system) in Carmópolis (Sergipe state).

Background
The CT Sergipe gas pipeline was designed to transport regasified fossil gas from Eneva's Sergipe FSRU terminal in Barra dos Coqueiros, Brazil and feed it into the TAG pipeline system at Carmópolis (Sergipe state), for onward transport to customers up and down Brazil's Atlantic coast, via the Itaporanga-Carmópolis and Carmópolis-Pilar gas pipelines — both part of the Catu-Pilar pipeline system operated by TAG (Transportadora Associada de Gás). The pipeline was officially inaugurated in September 2024.[8][9][10][11] Total development cost for the project was estimated at R$340 million (340 million Brazilian reais).[8][11]
Brazilian government reports published in October 2019[12], December 2022[13], August 2024[14], and February 2025[15] confirmed plans for the pipeline, with the latter document listing GASOG as an operating project.
