Coal Authority (UK)

The Coal Authority is a UK government agency which was established in 1994 with responsibility for the licensing of coal mining operations in Britain, handle environmental impacts such as subsidence claims and wastewater discharges from disused mines. It also provides the public with information on coal mining operations.[1]
