Background on Project

In 2012 preparatory work began on a 2 x 660 MW coal plant in Shuicheng, sponsored by China Datang.[1] It is an expansion project of Yemazhai power station in a different location (Yemazhai power station itself is an expansion project of Shuicheng power station, a 110MW retired power station in Shuicheng County).[2]

However, with no developments since 2015, the Datang Shuicheng power station appears to be cancelled.
