L&M Energy Waiau Coal Seam Gas exploration project is a coal seam gas exploration project of L&M Energy (LME), a New Zealand based energy company.

LME states on its website that the permit area the company's Petroleum Exploration Permit 38220 at Ohai and that the combined area of the two is 600km2 in the Western Southland region of the South Island.
