Maly Port (Russian: Малый Порт) is a coal terminal in Russia.
Location
The terminal is located in Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai, Russia.[1]
Background
Maly Port began operating in 1992[2] and is operated by Stevedoring Company Maly Port LLC («Стивидорная компания «Малый порт» ), a subsidiary of SUEK.[3] Maly port accommodates 3 berths for coal handling. The port primarily provides export services for SUEK, exporting approximately 2.8 million tonnes of coal per year for the company.[4]
In 2019, the port handled 2.75 million tonnes of coal.[5] In 2020, SUEK exported 3.4 million tonnes out of the Maly Port.[6] In the first 10 months of 2021, the port shipped more than 3 million tonnes of coal. Most of the coal from the Maly Port is shipped to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China.[2]
In 2023, the port handled 3.5 million tonnes of coal. After another equipment upgrade and deepening of the seabed, the port was able to receive Panamax class vessels at its berths. [7]
In 2025, the terminal exported 3.61 million tonnes of coal.[8]
