The Pereyaslovskiy coal mine (разрез Переясловский) is a surface mine in Krasnoyarsk Oblast, Russia.[1]
Location
The map below shows the exact location of the mine.[2]
Background
The Pereyaslovskiy coal mine is operated by Krasnoyarskkrayugol OJSC, a subsidiary of Russian Coal.[1]
Produced lignite coal is supplied to Russian power plants (including to Khabarovsk-1 power station), large municipal companies and smaller boiler plants, some coal is shipped abroad.[3]
The mine's stated capacity is 6 million tonnes per annum[1]. But it appears that the actual production is lower. 9m 2021 production was 2.43 million tonnes.[4] In 1H 2022 the mine produced 1.5 million tonnes, which was 15% higher than in the same in 2021.[5]
The other mine operated by Krasnoyarskkrayguol is the Abansky coal mine, but it only contributes 2% to the company's production.[6]
