Qingyang Wind and Solar Demonstration Project

As of May 2023, the GEM wind and solar trackers contained 12 wind farm phases totaling 4,500 MW, and six photovoltaic solar farm phases totaling 960 MW associated with this development. The Qingyang Wind and Solar Demonstration Project included:
- Gansu Qingyang Huanxian (Huaneng) Wind/Solar Demonstration Project wind farm (plus these additional phases)
- Gansu Qingyang Huanxian (Huaneng) Wind/Solar Demonstration Project solar farm
As of May 2023, there were an additional two coal projects that were being developed in the same area whose power will be bundled and transmitted along with the Qingyang Wind and Solar Demonstration Project initiatives. These coal projects were:
