Shenhua Tianjin Coal Terminal is in the Nanjiang port area of the Port of Tianjin, on the western shore of the Bohai Bay in the People's Republic of China.
Also at the Port of Tianjin is the Tianjin Port Huaneng Coal Terminal.
The Port of Tianjin is located on the western shore of the Bohai Bay, in the estuary of the Haihe River, 170km south east of Beijing and 60km east of Tianjin city.
A phase II was under development in 2014 to handle 35 million tonnes of coal a year, for a total of 80 million tonnes of capacity at the terminal.
The terminal had seaborne coal sales of 31 million tonnes in 2013.
