Yeisk Sea Port Coal Terminal (Russian: Ейский морской порт) is a coal terminal in Russia.
Location
The port is located in Yeisk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia.
Background
The port was founded in 1848.[1] The port is technically a terminal with eight berths. Berth 5 handles coal and berth 6 handles petroleum coke. The average loading capacity for coal is 4.000 tonnes a day, or 1.46 mtpa, assuming 365 work days a year.[1][2]
The Yeisk Sea Port JSC is part of the larger Yeisk port with 8 terminals in total, with 6.8 mtpa capacity for the whole port.[3] The terms are almost identical, with the news usually referring to the company Yeisk Sea Port JSC to differentiate from the larger Yeisk Sea Port, which is often referred to as Port Yeisk in Russian.
In 2025, the terminal handled 2.41 mtpa of cargo, 2.39 mtpa of which was for export.[4] It is unclear how much coal has been handled in 2025.
As of 2026, the larger port has been attacked by Ukrainian drones at least once. The extent of the damage is uncertain.[5]
