Lion Industries Amsteel Banting steel plant (also known as Amsteel II and AMSB Banting) is a 1250-thousand tonnes per annum (ttpa) electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant in Selangor, in Malaysia. Lion Industries Amsteel Banting steel plant operates a electric arc furnace (EAF).

Background

The Lion Industries Amsteel Klang steel plant began operating in 2001.[1] The Lion Industries group is planning an expansion of the plant's crude iron capacity, which was anticipated to be completed in 2021, yet no updates on completion have been published as of March 2022.[2]
