Background

The Vinogradovsky coal mine is operated by the Kuzbass Fuel Company (KTK).

As of September 2022, there is no production history available for the mine since 2018.

However KTK reports that total company's coal production in 2021 has increased by 36% and reached 12.8 million tonnes.[2] This includes coal production from the Vinogradovsky coal mine, Cheremshansky coal mine, Karakansky South coal mine, Bryansky coal mine and Listvyanichny coal mine. Information disclosure has reduced since KTK was delisted from the Moscow Stock Exchange in 2021.[3] About 75% of KTK production is exported. [4]

A fatality was reported at the mine in 2020 when a rock section collapsed and buried a loading truck with one driver inside.[5]
