CPI Ningxia West-to-East power station

CPI Ningxia West-to-East power station was reported to be a proposed 6,000-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Background on Project

According to a 2012 report by WRI, CPI is currently planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 6,000 MW in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.[7][8]

The power station is part of a large-scale plan for expanded coal mining and power production in Ning Dong, with large-scale goals to be completed by 2015 and 2020.[9]
