Network background On August 2021, Tianjin released its Medium-long-term Development Plan for oil and gas pipelines (2021-2035) 天津市石油天然气长输管道中长期发展和布局规划（2021-2035年）for public review. It listed the current oil and gas pipelines in Tianjin, including National oil and gas trunk pipelines passing through Tianjin.[1]
According to this plan, there are 23 long-distance oil and gas pipelines in Tianjin, with a total length of about 1,770 kilometers, including 6 crude oil pipelines, 3 refined oil pipelines, 2 aviation kerosene pipelines and 12 natural gas pipelines. There are 19 pipelines operating. 2 pipelines are decommissioned. 1 pipeline has been built but not entered operating yet. and 1 pipeline has been scrapped.[1]
天津市现状共有 23 条石油天然气长输管道,总长度约1770 公里,其中原油管道 6 条,成品油管道 3 条,航空煤油管道 2 条,天然气管道 12 条。在用管道19 条,停用管道2条,建成未使用管道1条,报废管道1条。
In Tianjin's 14th Five-Year Plan on Energy Sector released in March 2022, it's aiming to become a regional oil and gas hub, building a regional oil and gas pipeline network with the interconnection with Beijing and Hebei. Tianjin will accelerate the construction of Sinopec's Tianjin LNG terminal parallel pipeline, Mengxi pipeline project phase I project, Tangshan LNG export pipeline and other key projects.[2]

The sources of the pipelines are Shaan-Jing Gas Pipeline 2 and Shaan-Jing Gas Pipeline 3 . The pipeline connected Shaan-Jing Gas Pipeline 2 and Dagang Underground Gas Storage .[3]
