IC İçtaş Enerji or "IC İÇTAŞ Energy Yatırım" or "IC Energy" is a Turkish company which owns half of "Yeniköy-Kemerköy Electricity Generation and Trade Inc" (the other half is owned by Limak Enerji part of Limak Holding) which operates Kemerköy power station and Yeniköy power station[1][2]. IC Energy, which is a division of IC Holding, has proposed the construction of the 600 megawatt coal-fired Yumurtalık IC İçtaş power station near Yumurtalık in Adana province, Turkey.

Capacity Payments

In 2018 the company was paid millions of lira by the government in support of its coal-fired plant via the capacity mechanism.[3]
